Timing & Flexibility
Please allow for slight time variations at either end of your scheduled lesson. If your instructor is running early or delayed, they’ll contact you directly. We recommend being ready and waiting outside at the set start time.
After Your Lesson
You can easily book additional lessons or upgrade to a package through your instructor.

Cancellation Policy
We understand things come up — if you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.
We Teach 7 Days a Week
With lessons available every day, we’re confident you’ll find a time that fits your schedule.
As we have an automated system, please allow time variance on either end of your booking time. If your instructor is running early or late they will contact you. We recommend that you wait outside at the set start time.
After the lesson, you can book further lessons and organize packages through your instructor. Please note that our packages have 6 months validity.

If you would prefer to learn in your own vehicle, you can choose to do so, provided that you are a competent driver and your vehicle is roadworthy, clean, and registered. You may also opt to use the driving instructor’s vehicle, an instructional vehicle with dual controls for added safety, at no extra cost.
First Pass Driving School offers a driving test package for $150, which includes:
• Pick-up from your chosen location
• 45-minute pre-test driving lesson
• Use of your instructor’s vehicle for the driving test
• Drop off to your chosen location
This package is available to all First Pass Driving School customers who have taken or who will take regular driving lessons. Find out here.
That totally depends on your skills, learning abilities and consistency with driving. We are determined to be showing you the safest and most practical way to learn how to drive but every student is different. We will not push you to go for your test until you are ready to drive safely and are familiar with all road rules.
You will need the following documentation to complete the transfer:
- Your proof of identity
- A knowledge test (if applicable)
- A driving test (if applicable)
- A medical report (if applicable)
- Your overseas license (and a translation if not in English)
Once you have the documents you will need to visit a service center and provide the information in person.
