Know where you stand.

Can I keep my existing customers and business?

Yes. You keep your own name, branding and customers. There is no exclusivity requirement.

What does First Pass charge?

The platform commission is 20% of the lesson amount paid after any package discount. The example above shows your share. There are no hidden fees.

When do I receive my earnings?

Your share is released after lesson completion and verification of the learner’s completion code. Bank arrival follows your Stripe account’s payout schedule.

Can I offer driving test packages?

Yes, where your instructor services and vehicle support them. Packages include pickup, a warm-up lesson, use of your car for the test and drop-off, as shown in the package details. You can choose to offer test packages to existing learners only. Learners arrange their official driving test appointment separately.

Can learners reschedule online?

Eligible bookings can be changed at least 12 hours before the existing lesson or pickup time. For driving test packages, the new pickup time must also be at least 24 hours away.

Who sets lesson prices?

First Pass sets rates by service area. You choose where you teach and when you’re available.

Can I teach automatic, manual or both?

Your profile shows the options you are approved to teach, based on your vehicle and accreditation.

Are bookings guaranteed?

No. Bookings depend on local learner demand, your service areas and availability.
