Can I choose my hours and service areas?
Yes. Choose your service areas and set your availability in your instructor dashboard. Learners can book the times you make available.
Can I keep my own business and learners?
Yes. Keep your business name and existing learner arrangements, and continue working independently or through other platforms. There is no exclusivity, and you do not need to move your existing learners to First Pass.
How are lesson prices and commission set?
First Pass sets lesson rates by service area. Commission is 20% of the amount paid after any package discount, and you receive 80%. This applies to all bookings made through First Pass, including bookings from your own learners and through your profile link. There is no joining fee or subscription.
When do I get paid?
Your share is released after the lesson is completed and verified using the learner’s completion code. Arrival in your bank account follows your connected Stripe account’s payout schedule.
What do I need to join?
You’ll complete your instructor profile, provide the required licence and verification documents, add your vehicle, choose service areas and availability, and connect Stripe. Your profile must be approved before it goes live.
Can I offer driving test packages?
Yes, where your approved services and vehicle support them. You can choose to offer test packages to existing learners only. Learners arrange their official driving test appointment separately.
Are bookings guaranteed?
Bookings aren’t guaranteed. They depend on local learner demand, your service areas and availability. We’re building our instructor network and learner reach.
